Jason was born and raised in Orange County , California. He is the oldest of five siblings and the only one to join the military and graduate from college. After 4 years of military service in the Marines, Jason supported himself by working full time as a commercial truck driver while attending college. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from California State University, Long Beach. In 2006 he was offered an opportunity as an Assistant Project Manager with an all woman firm where he was first exposed to real estate development preparing projects for entitlements at planning commission meetings.

Throughout the last sixteen years he has worked for real estate developers and general contractors presenting projects at planning commissions, zoning review boards, design review boards, city counsel meetings, and community counsel meetings. As a project manager for several construction companies, he’s managed commercial projects such as commercial retail, a golf course, underground tunneling, dam demolition, street improvements, remote school construction, Army Corps of Engineer projects, and major infrastructure upgrades on military installations.

He lives in Eagle River in a house he designed and built with his wife Sabrina and two boys, Ian and Gavin.
